Garlic Butter Steak Bites

• 680 g sirloin steak $25.84
• 1 tsp salt $0.05
• 0.5 tsp black pepper $0.07
• 1 tsp fresh rosemary $0.15
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil $0.08
• 2 tbsp butter $0.40
• 2 cloves garlic $0.06
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley $0.10

Method

1. Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and toss with salt, pepper, and chopped rosemary.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
3. Add the steak in a single layer and let it sear undisturbed for 2-3 minutes to build a crust, then stir and cook about 1 minute more. Don't overcook.
4. Transfer the steak to a plate and lower the heat to medium.
5. Melt the butter and add the garlic, cooking about 1 minute until fragrant. Return the steak and parsley, tossing to coat.
6. Pull off the heat right away, adjust salt, and serve warm.
