Loaded Italian Subs

• 4 Italian sub rolls $3.40

• 200 grams Corned beef, turkey or ham $3.60
• 200 grams Salami $4.40
• 200 grams Pepperoni $4.00
• 1 medium Tomatoes, sliced $0.59
• 1/8 small Red onion, sliced $0.08
• 1/8 Cucumber $0.17
• 1 1/2 cups Shredded lettuce $0.78

Method

1. Cut the sub rolls in half lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through on one side; leave a hinge.
2. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, garlic, basil, oreg ano, and salt and pepper to taste. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of herbed mayo on the inside surfaces of each roll.

6. Divide the tomato, onion, and shredded lettuce among the sandwiches. Close each sandwich tightly and wrap securely in pla tic wrap. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve. Serve w pepperoncini on the side (or, if you like, tuck the pepperoncini in the sandwiches).
