Ingredients · for 6 (scales to your household)

Per-ingredient cost is the amount this recipe uses at the lowest Canadian price we have on file; the per-serving total above adds the range up to the dearest price and for buying whole packages.

Method

  1. Bring the chicken stock and soy sauce to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Submerge the noodles and cook 1 to 2 minutes until softened, loosening with tongs, then drain and reserve the cooking liquid.
  3. Heat oil in a wok, add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  4. Add the sliced chicken and cook 3 to 5 minutes until lightly browned.
  5. Add the carrots and celery and cook briefly, then add the cabbage and cook until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the noodles to the pan and add the reserved liquid gradually, tossing gently until the liquid is absorbed.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with green onions and serve with citrus wedges.
