Ingredients · for 4 (scales to your household)

Per-ingredient cost is the amount this recipe uses at the lowest Canadian price we have on file; the per-serving total above adds the range up to the dearest price and for buying whole packages.

Method

  1. Cut the chicken wings at each joint. Discard the wing tips or save them for stock.
  2. Pour the vegetable oil into a large, heavy-bottomed pot until it reaches a depth of 4 inches or use a deep fryer. Heat the oil to 350°F.
  3. Deep-fry the wings in batches for about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring once to ensure they cook evenly. When the wings are just beginning to brown, remove them from the oil and drain them on a wire rack resting on a cookie sheet.
  4. While the wings are frying, combine the butter, seasoned salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder in a small pan over medium-low heat. When the butter has melted, add 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese and stir.
  5. Place the wings in a large bowl. Pour the butter sauce over the wings and toss to coat.
  6. To serve, sprinkle with parsley and the remaining Parmesan cheese.
