Zippy Beef Casserole

• 1 lb Hamburger $7.94
• 1 1/2 cups Macaroni $1.01
• 1 can Cream of mushroom soup $1.27
• 3/4 cup Milk $0.32
• 1/2 cup Ketchup $0.57
• 3/4 cup Grated cheese $1.27
• 1/4 cup Celery, chopped $0.20
• 1 Onion, chopped $0.60
• 1/2 tsp Salt $0.03
• 1/4 tsp Black pepper $0.03

Method

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown hamburger with chopped onion and celery. Drain excess fat. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook macaroni according to package directions until just tender. Drain.
4. In a large bowl, combine browned beef mixture, cooked macaroni, cream of mushroom soup, milk, ketchup, and half the cheese. Stir well.
5. Pour into the prepared casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
6. Cover and bake for 45 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
